​The Kiwanis Club of Anacortes Foundation has awarded hundreds of scholarships and over $1 Million Dollars to high school seniors, trade or vocational school students, and returning college students since 1978.   The scholarships are based on several factors including community involvement, financial need, and a strong potential to succeed academically in college.  Awarding these scholarships to deserving students is just one of the many programs Kiwanis has established for the youth in our community.  The Kiwanis Thrift Shop which is supported by many volunteers and the donations from the Anacortes community, is the major contributor to these scholarships.
